SIGHTINGS

On May the 4th 2003 we received a visit from the Devon Moth Group under the leadership of Roy F Mccormick. There was quite a Souwesterly wind blowing , with lots of cloud cover and a temperature of only ten degrees centigrade.Nevertheless the following species were identified.

The Devon Moth Group visited us again on 21st June 2003 and had a far more successful evening. Fifteen traps were set in various parts of field two both in the woodland and in the open field. Again the visit was led by Roy F Mccormick. The weather was a bit better this time and 132 species were identified.
